Pandemic

What I have learned from the pandemic?

Pandemic- the word I never heard of and never heard anyone use it in my 28 years of life. It was really hard for me to digest the fact that in my era, my world is going through this crisis. Every day new number and every hour new number of people getting infected and dying.

This may seem like a very strange thing for us right now, but this will definitely let us know that the world is very fragile and nobody knows what kind of issue(s) we are going to face the very next morning when we wake up.

I don’t know how many people are absorbing this issue but for me, it is very strange very sensitive and very heart touching.

Of course, every one of us wants this to get over but nobody knows when ??

Every day I watch people addressing on social media and I see that they are so uncertain about the issue’s end date. The smart people on the news these days know few of the things and they just make it very public so that everybody protect themselves from that horrible virus.

I never knew I would address this issue in a public platform like this but this is an issue I definitely want to address and I definitely want people to be aware of and take good care of themselves by reading this.

So, What have I learned from this crisis let’s see…

We all see that the giant company CEOs and all other business leaders are donating ventilators and making sure that the ventilators directly reach to the people and not go to the warehouse. Instagram and Facebook CEO comes live to do a public video calling with scientists off National Institute of Allergy and infectious diseases to create awareness amongst the Facebook users but,

What are the lessons which we have learned so that we could have a sustainable living for us and also for our next generation coming free from the pandemics?

For all my life I was thinking “how can I go sustainable how can I protect the earth while I’m doing my daily task how can I be very planet-friendly?” Then suddenly this pandemic came to me as a surprise at first but is rather a shock.

  1. I learned that 40% of the Americans cannot afford to pay a $400 extra every month.
  2. I learned about the different kinds of leaders around the world how different leaders are intriguing this crisis and how they are managing the crisis so that they can protect the people in the best possible way. I also understood the nature of political leaders around the world.
  3. I learn that the trade is the most important thing in the world to maintain the economy of each and every country and what happens if the trade stops like the current situation between the countries. I believe that everybody is at the loss.
  4. I learned that no matter what technology comes in handy I’ve seen many videoconferencing calls from all around the world made by people to run the business. Yes, the business may see some loss, but it is still running as people are not just keeping quiet in the house but still working from home.
  5. I learned that the government could do anything and everything to keep the economy running they provide money in trillions-of-dollars to the people yet they cannot provide the mental stability which some people may have it during lockdowns.
  6. I learned that people play a very important role in these kinds of lockdowns that is during pandemic only if they realise how important they are and how important that being at home means to the world especially to the vulnerable.
  7. I learned that hoarding is illegal, and people usually tend to hoard during pandemics thinking that they will not get any resources and they will starve to death. I realise that the toilet paper was the first thing people thought to hoard when they heard about the pandemic.
  8. I learned about how naive I can be with regard to not thinking about such a crisis which may happen at any point in the time.
  9. I also realise that how today’s businesses think about the employees and allow them to work from home since the day the pandemic has announced which shows a really humble way of how businesses are being these days.
  10. I learned about how air Precipitation got lower, How pollution comes down and how the earth heals.

In the end, I just want to say that I don’t know for how long this is going to last and I don’t know yet how many more things I am going to learn from this pandemic. Nobody thought that their business is going to get affected by a virus, nobody’s saw that their job employment would depend on something like this crisis which may cause a recession  nobody thought that the graduation is going to get canceled (like mine did),nobody thought that their prom is going to get canceled. We all deserve these things, yet we are all here in this together and we shall come out of it together. I just pray that More and more people are safe and healthy and positive during this pandemic.
